My son has been going here two mornings a week for 7 months (started when he was 30 months) as I wanted him to socialize more even though he was not preschool age yet. We chose this place because it has an academic curriculum, the facilities are great (apart from the play area) and the director was very professional and engaging and showed good leadershop. All these definitely turned out to be true. At the beginning he had a great teacher and he really thrived at school. He was learning so much. She left after 3 months and it has not been great since. I have noticed a change in his behaviour over the past months as there is less control in the classroom. The children are allowed to be wilder. When/if they get the teacher situation sorted out, then I would definitely recommend the school to others. One other plus is that the school was very flexible with adding extra days when needed.
By far one of the best choice I made for my child academically. The only problem is I'm having a hard time trying to switch to another school that's closer to our area because BPA standards are so high that I've gotten use to it. Every school I check out seems so mediocre in comparison. My daughter is already advanced for her age so Ms Mae suggested we put her in the older class. My daughter learned about things such as condensation, how to sing in French, count in Spanish, etc. This is a great school. I'm a proud parent of BPA!
We have tried various preschools and Bridgepoint has, by far, been the best. The program is academic and structured, but far from rigid or overly fussy. The kids still have plenty of fun! The director, is an absolute pleasure. There's great diversity at Bridgepoint too, both among the student body and the teachers. The only downsides are the rather lame outdoor play areas and the busy El Camino location. But the classrooms are all bright and airy. We love Bridgepoint and have been sending our youngest daughter there even though the school is a bit out of the way for us.
Our 4 year old daughter is enrolled three full days at prekindergarten program at BridgePoint Academy and we love it. The teacher is great and have a loving way to welcome the kids. Their program is very structured they have art, music, and french classes and their facility is very spacious, especially the classrooms. My daughter is learning how to read, how to count money and big numbers, and practices writing a journal on a daily basis. She is very happy in that school and love her teacher, she gets very excited when is the day to go to school and doesn't stop talking about what they did during the day .... amazing!!! We are very very happy and highly recommend this school. I wish we knew about it long time before. Tommy Tucker
Our 2-year-old daughter is enrolled in the full-time preschool program at Bridgepoint Academy and we love it! The teachers are great and the facility is brand new and very spacious w/ backyard. Their program is very structured which really helped our daughter to get adjusted to the new routine - I never thought she would get used to going to school so easily (esp. since she had been with mommy till now!) The teachers are very experienced and help with potty training, learning table manners and clean up routine etc. The program includes art, music and language (Phonics, French) - our little one has learned so much already! She sings the alphabet song and brings home tons of fun art :) We're very happy with the program and the staff at Bridgepoint Academy and I can only recommend it! Knowing that our little one is in good hands made the whol
