I found it best to unexpectedly visit a center opposed scheduling a tour. You are able to walk in on the staff and classrooms as they are in action, not the staged appearance as a scheduled tour would offer. Each school I walked in, except KinderCare, teachers gave me a rude look, like I didn t belong there. First impression is everything. Ironically, after taking some dreaded tours and meeting unruly people, I found out that I surely did NOT belong there. I arrived at KinderCare, located in Harbor Bay, and was greeted by a cheerful woman at the security locked door. My first impression was great! And so was my last. KinderCare was clean, consistently nice and happy staff, posted curriculum and classrooms were filled with knowledgeable activities and art associated with the monthly theme, even the infant room! The school was colorful and bright, a perfect environment for learning. Up-to-date health and safety bulletin board. I could trust that my son will be in a safe environment. After visiting KinderCare, I held higher standards for the other schools I seen. No such school exists, as far as I seen.
