I had my daughter at a different preschool in town and wasn't loving it. My fellow mom friends would say, 'no preschool is perfect. There will be things you like and things you don't.' I enrolled my daughter in The Child Unique and after 6 months I can honestly say, I absolutely LOVE this school, the director, the teachers, the diversity, the studying of a different continent each month, and the unique fundraisers and activities. I also embrace the Montessori philosophy and it's been fantastic to watch my daughter become more confident and self-directed in the 'work' she chooses. One of the things that really had me know that this was the right school for our family was during the parent orientation night. The director spoke about the intention of raising children to be peaceful which means 'being' peace. And the staff at this school truly are 'peace.'
