This is the sweetest, happiest school - makes me wish I was a preschooler :) The teachers are so caring, I have stayed in touch with them even after my older kids left to go onto to elementary school. They just have the best, happiest memories there. I cannot think of a single negative experience that either of them ever had at St. Mark's and we are looking forward to sending our youngest there next year. I think the only negative is that pretty much all the moms are stay at home moms and create a somewhat unrealistic expectation for working mothers - I overheard one mother (who had ONE child, stayed at home, and had a nanny) tell another mom once that three hours three days a week just wasn't enough time to get to the gym, get her hair cut, etc. Ha! But the parents are generally nice and the other kids are definitely sweet and welcoming!!
St. Marks' is a wonderful caring evironment. The teachers are sweet, able, and a cohesive team. Ms. Cheri has been the headmistress for many years and she runs a great preschool. I can't imagine a better preschool environment. The only 'downside' is the lack of diversity. Otherwise, it is perfect.
