Our son attended the Infant Development Center program from the age of about 7 months until he was 2 and I wish he could have stayed forever. They are so concerned with the growth of the individual child - not just babysitting. He learned compassion and creativity, and was given permission to be his own little person without having to fit into a mold. The staff is AMAZING and I can't recommend them highly enough. I just with their older child daycare program was full-time!!!
There are actually two care programs at the University. IDC (Infant Development Center) and UofA Nursery School (3 & 4 yr olds). Both are excellent. Both of our children have attended UofA Nursery School and there aren't enough stars to describe their program. Structured. Loving. Nurturing. Rhythmic. Routine. Kind. Well-Maintained. Excellent Staff. You won't find a better program. This program supports the UofA early education curriculum and is a lab for education students. The individual care that these children receive is top notch. We love their whole child approach!
