When I originally enrolled my child in this daycare it seemed like a great facility. The student/teacher ration was good. The lessons were good. The smell was wonderful. After a few months at this school, my daughter was having continual problems. They expected my 2 year old at the time to sit and watch tv every morning and every afternoon and she would get in trouble if she did not sit down. She was not offered other options of playing quietly or looking at books. Then she started getting in trouble for not "participating in the lesson correctly". I had a conference with the teacher and come to find out my daughter was getting in trouble because she wasn't doing exactly what they wanted. For example, she was coloring with purple when a tree is green. Or she was using scissors on the square when we said to but the triangle. I personally thought this was ridiculous. A 2 year old should be allowed to expolore how they want as long as they're following the general rules and should NEVER be punished for trying to be creative. If you're looking for a concrete do it "my way or the highway" then this is the place!
