I think this excellent preschool deserves a review! My son attended two years ago and it was a fantastic experience. I have two older children who had attended private Christian preschools in the same local area and, I must say, their preschool experiences could not begin to compare to that of my son's. VVELC, first of all, creates the perfect physical environment for kids, equipped with "little people" everything! It is CLEAN--and I mean, spotless! The director, Dana Mulay, is warm and personable and professional. My son's teacher and assistants were kind and energetic and organized. My son came out of preschool writing quite a bit and reading some before he began kinder. The environment is safe and secure and 100% child-centered. The playground equipment is kept in good condition and provides a lot of creative play. I loved this school and am so happy I did not go back to private preschool (fine enough; just not superior like VVELC). VVELC is, however, much more expensive than the private preschools in the area. In my opinion, you cannot do better that VVELC if you are looking for a preschool in the Foothills--even if it means going just 2 days a week for affordability.
