My son was in the Pre K class room 10 at SLC Kierland for about 6 months. We moved from the east coast where he was in a preshcool with about 15-18 kids on any given day and he was doing great. We never had any behaviour issues at the school or with other kids. We had heard great things about SLC and liked the Christian backgrounds there. He was doing well for the first few weeks and then we started to notice some different behaviors from him. He was getting agressive and nevative. The class size in this room was very large and seemed unruly every thime we came to drop him off or pick up. It seemed that he was acting out to get attention. The staff tried to work with us over a preiod of a few weeks, but in the end we decided to change schools to a smaller class size. At the time he was registered there they had a total of 41 children on the list for that classroom. Although there were never more than 24-25 in the class at once. There were too many kids and not enough individual attention.

We are first time parents in a new city. We needed to find day care that was flexible, affordable and comfortable to us. and our 21 month old daughter. We thought it would be impossible. W e were wrong. Since day one, SLC has far exceeded our expectations. The staff, resources, philosophy, culture and administration are fantastic! Our daughter claps when we arrive in the morning and she blows her teachers kisses good-bye when we leave. It is an excellent experience for us.

This is a great little school. My son always enjoys going and has attended since he was 18 months. The transitions are gradual and the teachers caring and nice. They are also very flexible with time.
