This is an amazing school. My child has blossomed and learned so much there. This school offers so many ways for your child to learn and experience the world around them. They have an art studio, they have music classes, and as we know children who are exposed to the arts and sciences usually do better at school. They get to see bugs and animals. They lean about the Earth and take nature walks. The children get to ask questions and discusss things. They are not expected to be little clones and just sit there. This school truely engages these kids to learn and think. They do many things to strengthen the muscles in the hands and fingers as well as play based projects for the children to develop fine motor skills so they can learn to write. They do work on their writting skills as well. I cannot say enough about this school. It a a safe, nurturing environment. That teaches the children kindness and how to socialize and share. The teachers are highly educated there (not just certifications like most preschools) and they continue to go to seminars to stay on top of the best practices. Plus there are three teachers per classroom. There are no teachers aids, they are all teachers!. There is so much communication, daily updates, pictures, parent/teacher meetings. Find another preschool that has all that. My child attended a popular "acedemic" preschool in Scottsdale. The first year, when he was 3, he did well and there. The next year it was all worksheets, tracing and writing letters. There was story time and circle time but basicallly it was 4 year olds being expected to sit and do multiple work sheets. My child who was very active and intelligent became frustrated, if I kept him there I was fearful that he would not have the joy of learning and be a lifelong learner. The focus was so much on writting letters and work sheets that he wasn't learning much else. My child wasn't engaged and was bored out of his mind. I wanted to add my experience at a so called "acedemic" preschool. PPP is far more acedemic even though it is play based. I am so happy that my child atttends there. We decided that since our child's birthday was the very end of August to keep him there another year. We know that there is not a better preschool around and love PPP and everyone there.

This school looks like a preschool dreamland. The environment could not be better. My child attended Pinnacle as a 3 year old and for pre-K. Our first year was wonderful. Three year olds should in my opinion be mostly "playing" and exploring. The problem is that the pre-K program is not much different. My daughter was not stimulated enough intellectually in the 4 year old class and was definitely NOT as prepared for kindergarten as some of the other children in her class. Not only does Pinnacle's curriculum not prepare a child for kinder, the teachers were not willing to support my child's reading skills in anyway. When she started reading at 3.5, I informed the teachers so they could encourage her in the classroom. I was told "reading is not developmentally appropriate at 3.5 so they wouldn't be doing it at school" and it was back to playing with play-doh. It's a warm, kind, beautiful school, but if your child is advanced or you don't want to prepare them for kindergarten at home, I would keep looking.

The facility is above and beyond incredible! Learning happens everywhere! The play yard has many opportunities for learning and even the children can paint outside everyday! The artilia is the art studio where children create masterpieces, learn culture and gain confidence. The staff is phenomenal and much of the staff has been there 10yrs. Each class has 3 teachers and there always there to communicate with me. The teachers also sent an email everyday with pictures and standards that the students worked on each day. Along with daily emails my child also had an amazing portfolio filled with their learning along with standards. The classroom was very organized and the students were always given attention, with three teachers in a room no student is left behind. My child is now starting Kindergarten and is fully ready socially, emotionally and academically! The office staff is wonderful and been there years! The community of parents are also very supportive. I love the NAEYC preschool which was very important to me. The Reggio approach gives children structure and opportunity to grow into well rounded joy filled students. This is the best early childhood school in the state!

Very beautiful environment. But extremely disappointed with the Pre-K program. Very poor preparation for what is required now for Kindergarten. I had to teach very basic writing skills over the summer with my child. Something other Pre-K's work on all year long. Great daily e-mails of what the class did but terrible actual communication with the parents about my child. Parent/teacher conference was severely lacking in any real or important information. The lack of a structured environment is a serious problem for many children. If your child doesn't want to do an activity, the teachers are happy to leave them in a corner to do nothing so your child may not be learning much of anything. But, due to the lack of communication, you most likely won't be ever told that that is what is happening with your child.

Truly a magical place! The campus is lovely, warm and inviting - wonderful playground which the children use everyday. The school is only for preschool children, so everything is tailored for the little ones. The environment is calm, peaceful and joyful. The teachers are all gentle, calm, nurturing and welcoming. My 4 year old son adores his teachers. He loves to go to school. 19 children in his class with 3 teachers. Can't get a better teacher:student ratio anywhere. Fabulous art program and music program. Afternoon classes you can sign up for in cooking, Spanish, arts, sports, literacy. Diana Englund is the administrator and is the most organized and friendly person. She really keeps everything at the school running very smoothly and keeps you informed. I could not be happier and highly recommend this preschool. There should be more magical and joyful places like this for your child's first school experience. Oh yes, they email you every school day pictures and a short summary of the days activities, which is fabulous!

The most wonderful, magical preschool ever. Wish my child could go here forever! The teachers take time for each child and each parent. I love how peaceful it always seems here too. Awesome place!

We have had the most amazing experience at Pinnacle. My son started at the age of 3. The facility is beauitful, warm and inviting. The teachers and director, Sabrina are extremely caring. I can't say enough good things about this school. The kids are taught through the Reggio Emilia approach - a great way to start one's education. I learned about Pinnacle through a neighbor that's a teaching consultant. I will be forever thankful for the lead!

My daughter is in her 2nd year here, and we love it. My husband and I enjoy that school allows the children to create and grow on their own without telling them how each task is to be completed. Each week she attends music class and an art class at the atelier. The campus is welcoming. I would highly recommend it!

I love this school. The philosophy is gentle and child focussed and the teachers obviously care about the children. There is a good mix of reading and writing with open play and more structured activities. The playground and grounds in general are beautiful and welcoming and there is always pleasant music playing when you enter.
