As a new mom, placing my child in daycare after maternity leave was beyond stressful to me and my husband. I am so thankful we found Hand & Hand. I can't speak to the other levels but for the babies (6 weeks to one year) room, we have been beyond satisfied and happy with the providers. The three women who watch our son are wonderful and having the cameras is also so nice for peace of mind (and also for grandma who watches him out of state). The women who watch our child seem to enjoy doing what they do and are good at it.
Not great at all. Food and maintenance are excellent and however they have very cranky teachers......very busy serving and disposing the waste kids do not get enough time to eat and if they want more the food is gone coz hurry to do the dishes,,, Every interaction with the kid is for name sake and every assignment is just to show off the parents.. Nothing is done in an intention to make the kins learn.... if they can find good teachers it will be one of the best schools... I agree with previous reviews Teacher Morale is stilllllllll consistently low....
Howdy, As Asst. Director at Hand and Hand Preschool in Scottsdale, (under new management) my Director and I are working very hard at bringing our school up to OUR standards for YOUR children. The whole family unit is very important to us and we believe in incorporating your family, into ours. We are always looking for ways to challenge our children to be the best they can, and one of those ways is by offering a full curriculum. We also offer 3 full meals (breakfast, lunch and DINNER, served with fresh fruits and veggies), and 2 snacks. A few other perks offered are, coffee to go in the mornings, and monthly events like, parents night out and family dinners. Please stop by to meet us and to see that our new and improved center is just what you are looking for. Whether you have had a tour with us before or not, please call to book or rebook a tour now! For a short time we are offering free registration and a chance in a drawing for a $50.00 gift certificate ( your choice) upon enrollment. We're filling up fast and we want you to be able to take advantage of our specials. Hope to see you soon.
Hi I wanted to let everyone here know that there has been a mangament change here at Hand in Hand. My name is Sue and I am the new director and have already made alot of changes. First and foremost getting things cleaner and up to state standards. The my teachers morale had gone up by thousands and we are inly going up from here. I wanted to to let people know of all the changes and would love to have people come take another look.
Not a good experience. I signed my toddler up at this preschool very excited especially with the idea of the Internet viewing feature. After a few days my husband and I weren t very happy with the teacher and it gave us the impression that they were baby-sitting the kids instead of playing and teaching them. After 3 days of watching him, we decided that this preschool was not the best option for our son. I spoke with the principal about these issues and she told me that there is a 2-week cancellation policy. It didn t make any sense to me to have my son going for another 2 weeks when he and us were so unhappy. They didn't want to give us any refund for the days he didn't attend and they said they were going to call me back. I am still waiting for the call...
After having our children attend this school for years, we removed them and found a new place. They have gone downhill over the years and have gone from teaching just babysitting the kids. The place is run down and there never appears to be any plan to fix anything. Teacher morale seemed consistantly low.
My son Attended Hand In Hand from 7 weeks to age 5. I loved this school and believed in it. HOWEVER, we have entered public kindergarten and we found that he is going to repeat this grade due to not knowing his letters or numbers or sounds. I failed my son in believing in Hand In Hand!
My daughter has attended Hand in Hand for Pre-K and has had a lot of success. She receives individual attention as well as being socialized toward kindergarten.
