Prescott Child Development Center

My daughter is now two and has been going to PCDC since she was one. I really like the place. I have gotten to know all the teachers and I like them a lot. They have a hard job and seem to do it well. My only problem is that there is no way to identify the teachers from the parents (like matching t-shirts or name tags). I really like Miss. Raquel. She is super cheerful and always has a smile on her face. My daughter loves her.

We have used PCDC for the care of my granddaughter while she resides in Prescott. This has been since 2006. (PCDC was, and may still be the only local daycare which provides infant care.) We have seen changes, and are a lot happier now than the year under Sue Marsh, a board member filling in as temporary Director. The children are fed balanced meals or have the option of bringing their own food. The older kids are exposed to pre-school education. They are socialized and encouraged to be active, imaginative and team pla<x>yers. When there is a contagious outbreak, all parents are made aware as soon as possible. If there are behavioral issues parents are informed. The Staff has proven quite capable of working with irregular circumstances, and maintaining confidentiality. We feel secure having our girl there, and recommend it for others.
