Montessori Learning Center

We found a gem of school when we started at the toddler house four years ago. With the knowledgeable staff, outstanding curriculum, and well rounded program we have a child that is conscience of others, gracious, courteous and at an academic level far exceeding her age. There is discipline, organization and structure in every lesson and/or activity. Our daughter is exposed to art, various cultures and already (before first grade) studied Spanish, Sign-Language and now French. It is a small community of teachers, parents and students that are respective of one another. We made the decision to stay for elementary school after visiting public, charter and other private schools as nothing compared to MIS.

If you have a smart social hands-on child, and wish for a place for skys the limit deep learning, Ms Christine and her staff are where to go. Montessori dream, not nightmare. You do need to have learning in your home and reinforce monitoryour own your childs interests. I was overconfident and didnt wath my second child there, since my first child entered a young firstgrader at almost 3rd grade reading level, and with unlimited self confidence and initiative. blending to trad school is a challenge, because they learn to learn more than they learn to test. Ms C and staff appreciate physical activity and her yard is the ultimate best multifaceted backyard, kids are joyful and oxygenated when they settle down to work. At school parties, the kids sneak off to do schoolwork.
