I have to admit we didn't know anything about the Montessori system or even "buy-in" to the idea UNTIL shortly after we enrolled our daughter at Greenhouse Montessori. She started this school at 18 months of age and is now 3 years old. She is absolutely AMAZING! She is SO articulate, well mannered and well versed in so many subjects! It's hard to believe she is three and to hear the though process that she already has. We highly recommend this school and support the directors vision and direction with our girl. This school is laying a life long foundation for learning that is PRICELESS!

We have had our 3 year old daughter at Greenhouse for just about a year now. We cannot imagine a better place for her to grow and be supported. Jennifer Papp (the owner of the school) and her staff have a great passion for children and feel a personal responsibility for their growth. We could not be happier with our experience with the Greenhouse family.

My daughter attends the toddler classroom at Greenhouse and it is amazing. In one month I have seen tremendous growth. The staff at Greenhouse consists of really special teachers who take time with each child. They explain the whys of the world and are patient, caring, and understanding of toddlers. Each child is an individual and the pace of the class is appropriate for them. My daughter can undress herself, set the table with the glass plates they use, and has the confidence to know that her independence and care of self is allowable and encouraged. She is in a great place and I know that the next classroom will also encourage her individuality and Montessori philosophy that prompted me to choose not only Montessori, but Greenhouse Montessori. The school itself with the vision and implementation of the director's goals creates an envioronment that involves families into the education and community.

Our son started at Greenhouse very late into the school year. He was attending a traditional day care and we wanted to introduce him to a Montessori setting. He took to it immediately and I feel the reasons for that were the amazing group of teachers at Greenhouse. They made him feel so welcome and it was such an inviting environment for him to absorb the endless education and growth opprtunities they provide. We are so pleased and couldn't dream of him anywhere else!

I enrolled my son at Greenhouse because a teacher that I loved was there and when she left I was a little devastated and thought about changing schools but I stayed there and dont regret it. My son had a wonderful year, he was always happy to go to school, he learned a lot and made a lot of friends. The learning environment was great and I loved that they had a party for the kids for every ocasion, christmas, halloween, thanksgiving, valentines day, etc.. And the kids were exposed to many different things like yoga, gardening, petting zoo etc.. Overall I think this is a great preschool and we're coming back next year!!!

I have been more than happy with Greenhouse Montessori. My kids LOVE everything about the school--the teachers, the classroom, the gardens, the playground, their friends, and even their works! Like the garden, my kids (my daughter just graduated from Kindergarten, and my son completed his first year of preschool) flourished. By the end of the year, my daughter (6) was reading chapter books, writing full sentences, and doing simple division. My son was reading and writing simple words and doing simple math. Their learning was not, however, limited to reading, writing, and math. They also learned about such things as the solar system, parts of a flower, and insects. They learned about animals, which were brought to the school from a nearby farm to enhance the learning experience. They sang a variety of songs, many of which supported the lessons being taught. Best of all, they had fun learning!

My daughter attended Greenhouse for a little over a year. She is now four, and tested easily into Kindergarten in Gilbert and Chandler. More importantly was the breadth of knowledge she attained while at the school and the amount of things she was exposed to. She rode a pony, held bunnies, learned about how special the animals were. She and her class grew butterflies and ladybugs from larvae, planted a flower and vegetable garden, yoga - and that's just a little of what they did. She loved going to school every day. In addition, the director has created a wonderful sense of community. There is a family night every month where the families all come together at the school and enjoy the kids serving a turkey dinner, or music program. It was a wonderful experience for my whole family. My son is attending next year!

My three year old son has attended Greenhouse Montessori since March of 2009 and my daughter since January of 2010. Both are doing extremely well there. I really admire the staff's ability to create an caring environment where children are safe and at the same time free to make decisions in a child-driven montessori setting. My three year old is very interesting in reading, knows almost all of his letter sounds and has begun sounding out words. He can count to ten in English and Spanish. I am realy thrilled that my kids love to go to preschool every morning! What more could a parent ask for? :-)

My 4 year old grandson attended Greenhouse all last year and what a wonderful experience it was! He learned so much, not only academically, but also socially and looked forward to going every day! I was actually teary eyed at the year end musical performance because I was so very grateful to Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Vicki, Ms. Patti - all the teachers for touching my grandson's life! And we can't wait until next year!!!!

I removed my child from this school as the director seemed very disorganized and was making a lot of changes that I felt were inappropriate for my child and the other preschoolers .
