I have been to numerous schools due to military moves. Joan's is BY FAR the best! Even compared to the highly accredited military preschools. This is the only school my kids have ever actually wanted to go to. They are warm, loving, helpful, and meticulous in their care of each individual child. I actually knew the names of each child in both my kid's classes because they strive to know each child regardless of which class they are in. My degree is in Early Childhood education and I absolutely recommend this school!

My daughter has attended Joan's Preschool for over 2 years now and we are extremely happy. As many have mentioned, it is a large facility but Joan has worked hard to create small and secure spaces within. As an educator, it is evident to me that Joan and her staff implement curriculum that addresses the social, emotional, and developmental growth of the children attending her preschool. From the toddler room to the the 4 year old room where she currently resides, my daughter engages in age-appropriate activities and challenges. The staff at Joan's tends to be young, which has been my experience with most daycare facilities. Some teachers are more in tune than others but all have been open to any concerns I may have. Early mornings and late afternoons do tend to be more of a social time for staff and children but this does not bother me. Stop by during the day and you will find the staff and children active and engaged. If you want 1 to 1 attention, or even 3 to 1, for your child, Joan's may not be the place for you. However, if you feel good about your child being in a place where s/he is love and nurtured but also given some independence, check out Joan's Preschool.

My child has been going to Joan's preschool for two years now and I couldn't be happier ! There is great teacher involvement, and Joan is always available if I have a question. I honestly do not have one bad thing to say. I would highly recommend this preschool !

This is NOT a school. There is no teaching, and any attempt is a failure. They lack patience. They seem to only be interested in your money. They are rude, and I would never reccomend anyone I knew to send thier child there. Letting my child attend that facility was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made, and I hope people research every single thing about them before they decide to choose Joans Preschool as thier childcare provider. Honestly I don't know how they are even licensed.

Every time you arrive the teachers are sitting down gossiping. You are asked to provide "healthy" lunches, but all they have EVER provided in the last year my child has been there is those CHEAP sugary cereals. If you pack anything like fruit snacks or a baby candy bar they will not give it to your child. Some days they call me at work because he hit one kid and other days I get there to pick him up and they are like "he's had a HORRIBLE day, he bit two kids, tossed Jonny down the slide and sat in time out all day." They use a grading system of RED-BAD, YELLOW-OKAY, GREEN-GOOD, sometimes your kid will end up with a RED light for not sitting at circle time, seriously?

This preschool is average. It is a large facility and has many children. Lacks personal atttention, but I feel that my child is safe. They do integrate strands of learning activities and for the most part they are age and developmentally appropriate.

Great teachers and Joan is very involved. Clean, secure, but big facility. A lot of options for working parents on times and drop in care. Outside time includes 3,4,5 year olds.. it's a bit hectic.

There really is no education. School is suppose to be based on learning and their day consist of eating napping and painting a picture here and there. I am very unhappy!

My son has been going to this place for over a month. I am unhappy with the teachers , sometimes they dont even address me when I come in. How can you care for my child and not be able to tell me one thing he did.
