Pathetic. My 5 year old showed up for his first day of summer school. My child had never been to that church, didn't know any kids, and didn't know the teachers. They kicked my child out on the FIRST DAY for not falling into line; didn't even try to work with my child or give my child some breathing room to get comfortable or adjust. They put my child in a room school-age kids who were much older, which made things worse. Also, he didn't want his lunch so they pulled him into a private office and tried to make him to eat lunch when he was nervous and wasn't hungry. We asked why they didn't back off and leave my child alone when my child didn't want to eat. They said, "That's not what we do here." What does that mean? My child had ZERO problems in his old daycare which, unfortunately, closed.

Both my sons love West Mobile Baptist Child Development Center! My oldest has been there for three years. He is only 4 yrs old, but he can already write simple words, spell, read small words, and speak some spanish. The teachers are excellent. They offer lots of activities: Spanish, computer lab, library, music class and field trips. They keep the parents very involved. This is a great school!

My little girl is 3 years old and has been here since she was 12 weeks old. She has learned so much already at this school. I get compliments everywhere I go about how smart she is. She loves the teachers and is very social. Only problem is I wish it went further then kindergarten.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
